Successfully funded on Kickstarter in June 2025, Snowkissed Romance stands as Lovely Inc.’s second major title, following their self-funded 2021 hit My Love for You is Evermore. Snowkissed Romance marks an exciting new chapter for the studio as its first large-scale title supported directly by fans, allowing Lovely Inc. to grow beyond visual novels and create the fully immersive romance game experience the genre has been missing.

Snowkissed Romance revives what early otome games did best: immersive, addictive gameplay. Inspired by classics like Angelique (1994) and Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side (2002), Snowkissed blends time-management, stat-building, and mini-games into a romance experience that finally feels alive again.

The game also introduces a fully dynamic personality system where your zodiac sign, blood type, choices, and daily activities shape your protagonist’s evolving archetype, shifting character compatibility and opening new routes, scenes, and endings with every play-through.

The story unfolds during your final school break before college in December 1994, set at your aunt’s ski resort in the mythical Northern Japanese town of Yukihari. What begins as a peaceful holiday with your best friend quickly shifts when your older brother crashes alongside his three college roommates that you recognize from the past.

With three main love interests and two secret characters to uncover, Snowkissed Romance invites you to navigate resurfacing memories and new relationship dynamics over the course of three in-game weeks. As your choices and stats shape the unfolding story, you’ll decide whether to reconnect with a childhood crush, explore a multi-love (harem) dynamic, deepen friendships, or end the season on your own terms.

Due to built-in RNG ensuring that no two play-throughs are alike, Snowkissed Romance offers over 1,000 unique scenes—from daily encounters around the resort to intimate moments, voiced messages, dates, and major story events—creating a deeply replay-able experience filled with surprises.

Snowkissed Romance features partial voice acting by renowned anime talent: David Matranga (Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia and Takumi Usui in Maid-Sama) as Ren Usui; Kaiji Tang (Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen and Jinshi in The Apothecary Diaries) as Yoh Moriyama; Aaron Dismuke (Senku in Dr. Stone and Miyuki Shirogane in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) as Kichirou Ishii; Jessie-James Grelle (Ritsuka Uenoyama in Given and Yuri Katsuki in Yuri!!! on Ice) as Shinichirou Matsubara; and Talen Winchester (Kyosuke Aizawa in My Love for You Is Evermore) as Toma. Additional voice talent will be announced for Suki Shinju.

The project has earned significant anticipation within the otome and cozy gaming communities, raising over $62,000 from more than 900 backers on Kickstarter last year. The early demo, featuring a few in-game days, initial stat-building, and first encounters with the love interests, gave players a preview of the immersive mechanics and heartfelt storytelling to come.

Founders Kayla Michelle and Yana Raeven are thrilled to bring this project to life as Lovely Inc.’s debut into full-scale, gameplay-driven otome development—introducing new features that push the boundaries of what romance games can be.
